January 2009This utility cut was completed in January of '09 at 922 Asbury Ave in Evanston, IL. This was a 7' x 14' sewer repair. The workability of the EZ STREET product in the January cold was very good. The cold asphalt material could be raked. In this way, it performed in a similar manner to hot mix. For this sewer repair, we rolled it, spread it out and compacted it with three passes with a roller. We checked back in with Don Cornelius of Evanston in November of '09 and he had this today: "Well, the product worked the way you said. It held up real well. It didn't push out in the summertime..."
